one machine, one used truck, one good idea.
wellspring has been a family business in harrow valley since 2009 — and we still test every batch ourselves.
we got tired of watching neighbours haul flats of plastic bottles home from the big-box store — water that had travelled further than most of us do on vacation.
so leah and marcus bought a single reverse-osmosis machine, parked a secondhand truck out front, and started filling bottles for anyone who'd bring one. word got around. within a year the townships were calling about their wells — the iron, the smell, the scale — and we learned to fix those too.
seventeen years later we've got a proper depot, a real delivery fleet, and a workshop full of parts. what we don't have is a call centre, a franchise handbook, or a reason to sell you something you don't need. we drink the same water you do.
how we got here.
the first machine
one ro unit, a hand-painted sign, and a promise to test the water daily.
into the townships
well customers asked us to fix their water at the source — softeners, filters and our first uv installs.
the new depot
a proper refill hall on cedar mill road, plus a parts counter so nobody waits on shipping.
1.8 million bottles saved
that's how much single-use plastic our refill customers have skipped — and counting.
what we won't budge on.
tested daily
every batch, every morning. results posted on the depot wall where you can read them.
less plastic
refill and delivery both run on returnable bottles. the empties come back to us.
no upsell
we recommend the least you need. if the answer is nothing, that's the answer.
come say hi at the depot.
or let us test your water first — it's free, and there's a kettle on.
